What skills do you need to be successful in this role?
In order to be successful in project management, there are some key skills you will need. Great communication and intrapersonal skills are needed to effectively communicate between your team and the project stakeholders. Additionally the ability to problem solve effectively and adapt as needed. Furthermore, great time management is also a key component to succeeding in this role. However, advanced German knowledge is not always a prerequisite, as during a course that includes German lessons, you will build your industry specific vocabulary and intercultural skills to excel in this role.

Courses you can take to become a project manager
PRINCE2 is a project management methodology for controlling projects where you learn fundamental project management skills such as project planning, time management and improving your communication skills. This methodology is highly flexible, meaning it can be adopted to many different industries and types of projects. PRINCE2 is ideal for experienced project managers to improve their skills, but also for absolute beginners, as no previous knowledge is needed to become certified. It is a great project management certification as it is internationally recognised and offered in English.
Scrum is an agile project management framework utilised by teams to help structure and manage their work. It was originally designed for software development teams, it is now widely used in many industries as it focuses on learning through experiences and routinely reflecting on the wins and loses of the team in order to continuously improve. Becoming a Scrum master can open up new opportunities in various companies across many industries.
